MISSION SATEMENT

Welcome to McMinnville Soccer Club

McMinnville Soccer Club's vision is to promote youth soccer opportunities in McMinnville that enriches the lives of the players and families within the community.Our mission is to develop well-rounded players by nurturing their talents and growth through a love and respect for the game of soccer that promotes fun, sportsmanship and athletic development, to cultivate well rounded young people.

We aim to provide this by:
Promoting a positive coaching environment that emphasizes player development over winning games.
Players play! All players will play at least half of every game.
Participation in competition at various levels of development.
Opportunities to attend coaching clinics, goalkeeper training and summer camps.
Scholarship program for the community, so that all players and families can afford to play soccer.

We will achieve this through the emphasis of coach support and education. All coaches are certified by US Soccer, and have passed state background checks.

BOARD MEETINGS

MSC Board meetings are held at the First Federal Community Room on the 3rd Wednesday every month at 6:30. Guests are always welcome.

MSC is a 503c non-profit organization and is a registered member club with Oregon Youth Soccer Association. The Board is made up of volunteers within the community. We aim to keep player costs as low as possible to keep the program accessible to everyone in the community. We are a community partner with Parks and Recreation and the School District.
